Raffle Tickets

The raffle tickets for our Christmas Fayre draw have now arrived and a booklet has been sent home with each child today.

The tickets are being sold for £1 each and there are some great prizes on offer - have a look at our prize list page

The prizes have been donated by parents and local businesses, so all proceeds from ticket sales go straight to our donations target.

Please try to sell all 5 of the tickets in your child's book - or if you are unable to, return the unsold tickets to the school office as soon as possible, so that we can sell them to someone else.

As an added incentive, we will be running an extra (free) draw for all children who sell their full booklet of 5 tickets.  Just add their name and year group to the back of the stubb booklet when you return it with the £5 - we will draw a random winner for a special prize.

Need more tickets?
We will be selling raffle tickets at each of the performances this week & next.
Alternatively, ask in the school office for an extra booklet or two!

Secret Santa

This week we are running a Secret Santa stall at the school for children to buy a little something for a loved one all by themselves.

We've seen how popular this has been with the children in the last two years, so we stepped up our gift-buying to make sure we had plenty of items to sell this year.

Unbelievably, despite the huge mountain of gifts, we sold out on the second day!!  Thankfully Annie made a mad dash to the shops to stock up for the rest of the week.

Hopefully we'll make it through to Friday and all the children will get a chance to buy their presents!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to purchase and wrap all the gifts. x

PTFA Committee

We are now into our second full school year as a PTFA, with a new committee!

The hard work and dedication of the first committee will not be forgotten and has put us in a great position to continue into the future.  Whilst a number of members stepped down from the committee at the AGM, they are still keen to be involved as "normal" volunteers, so they won't be far away!

For 2013/14, the PTFA committee includes:
Abbie Beasley - Chair
Ruth Prestidge - Treasurer
Vacancy - Secretary
Liz Hall - Staff Representative
Sean James - Parent Representative

All parents, staff and "friends" of the school are automatically considered members of the PTFA and are welcome at the meetings.

Several members are particularly active in the PTFA and often referred to as volunteer members.  These include:
Annie Tayton
Angela Rowley
Jenny Wall
Jessica Evans
Adrian Rout
Howard Croft
Jane Foskett
Sue Jeffs
Becky Moore
... with many more helping out at big events.

Without the support of our members, both the regulars and occasional helpers, we wouldn't be able to raise anywhere near our targeted funds.

Thank you!

Welcome

Hello and welcome!

Clifford Bridge PTFA was set up in 2012 by a small group of volunteers, including parents, staff and members of the local community.  We aim to support the school by fundraising and providing resources for the children.

Our initial fundraising target is currently £10,000 which will be used to purchase a stage and related lighting for the school hall.  Alongside this, we aim to provide small donations throughout the year.

We'll update this site regularly with information about fundraising activities and other useful things.  Keep checking in to see what's going on and get in touch if you'd like to be involved!
